Biography
I was born in Ipefu-modu in Ife North local Government Lagos, Nigeria. I joined the ori olokum theatre groupe in 1977-1979. My first exhibition as part of that group was during FESTAC 77. (Festival of African Arts and Culture) I was honoured to be selected because of my work by Oba Aderemi( the first black governor of the western region on Nigeria) to decorate 2 shrines belonging to the oba of Ife. My style is distinctly African and draws influences from Susan Wenger ( http://www.abiyamo.com/susanne-wenger-nigerias-mystical-white-high-priestess/10/ ) and by Oshobo culture where I come from. I am married with children and grandchildren
