Ele studied Fine Art at Chelsea School of Art & Design and Newcastle University and now lives and works in the Somerset countryside. Her artwork has been published internationally and can be found in many private collections.
She takes inspiration from the natural world, often juxtaposing detailed drawings of various animals and birds with expressive mark making, shape and pattern.
By incorporating various methods when producing her work, including drawing and collage, the resulting pieces pull together various visual elements. Ele hopes that each of her pieces capture a stillness and moment of peace within our fragmented and busy lives, with every work giving line, form, texture and colour equal importance.
Ele says: “I hope to create visually arresting compositions that appeal to a range of tastes and ages.”
