Born in born in Cornwall, Tom has been drawn towards art and creative subjects since a child. He naturally pursued this passion through secondary school and it wasn’t until he attended Truro College that he became drawn towards the design elements. This led him to study interior design at the university of North London. <br /> <br />Summers were spent camping on the Isles of Scilly. One memorable camping trip, surrounded by the heat haze and blue waters of Bryher Island, provided a powerful catalyst to return to Cornwall. <br /> <br />Tom's love of color, shape and form play a big part in his works. Never without a sketchbook or camera he makes small studies and notes of experiences, then in the studio transfers the these to canvas.<br />
