Biography
I grew up in a vicarage in the Norwegian countryside. This childhood created a spiritual foundation and a connection to nature that is fundamental to my work. I originally educated as a civil engineer, before re-educating and starting to work as an artist in my early thirties. The main subject of my art is mystery, expressed through the dialogue between nature, humanity, and spirituality. Elements of myth are always present in my work. My works have been exhibited in the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Norway, and Sweden, and been published as three art books. I work from a small forest house in Trondelag, Norway.
