<p>Nora Soos (b. 1979, Szombathely, Hungary) studied at the Academy of Fine Arts, Budapest and Akademie der Bildenden Künste, Munchen. Soos now lives in Hungary.</p>
<p>Cosmopolitan themes such as consumption, fashion or social commentary, together with a penchant for free association, are fused into her mélange of post-surrealo-pop-art. She piles up figures that hardly fit on the canvas in their proliferation and stratification. Her technique is based on strong brush strokes and dominant contour drawings along with some dynamic blotchiness. She is an accomplished young artist in Hungary and has partaken in international exhibitions and art fairs from Italy to Belgium and won many awards.</p></span>
