<p class="MsoNormal" style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 10pt"> <font face="Calibri" size="3">After studying Fine Art at the Rietfeld Akademie, Holland, Marianne Morris (b.1944)&nbsp;went on to achieve recognition as an advertising photographer, receiving six gold awards for her work from the Dutch Art Directors Club, before working as an artist. Her exhibition in Amsterdam, along with the photographer Bill Brandt, was the first of numerous exhibitions and commissions, including a travelling Greek project that would go on to tour around Europe, a Commonwealth Exhibition, which remains on tour, and shows at the City Museums of Birmingham and Stoke on Trent. Some of the prints from a British Arts Council commission, entitled &lsquo;Life of a Village&rsquo;, were purchased by, amongst others, the V&amp;A. Following success in Britain and Europe as a whole Morris relocated to Greece, where she continues to work as an artist in her small workshop and exhibit in her Gallery on the island of Crete.</font></p>
