b. 1958<br> Llewellyn Thomas was born in Haslemere Surrey, a town known for it's watercolourists of the 19th and early 20th century. He first worked as a scenic artist in the theatre and then studied Illustration at the City and Guilds of London Art School and the Royal College of Art. He has illustrated many books, notably the "Pallister Novels" of Trollope for the Folio society and the "Princess and the Goblin" by George Mac Donald for Heinnmann. Also a prolific wood-engraver and designer, he lectures on illustration at Maidestone College of Art and is based in Brixton, London.
