Biography
Pat Nicolle is a British artist born in 1945. He is best known for his illustrations in children's books, particularly for the works of Enid Blyton. Nicolle studied at the Harrow School of Art and later at the Royal College of Art. He began his career as a freelance illustrator in the 1970s and has since illustrated over 100 books. His illustrations are known for their detailed and realistic style, often featuring animals and nature. Nicolle has also worked as a commercial artist, creating advertising campaigns and packaging designs for various companies. In addition to his work as an illustrator, Nicolle has also exhibited his paintings in galleries across the UK. He currently lives and works in Sussex, England.
