Biography
Sue Jamieson began her studies in Carlisle and before going on to Goldsmiths College. She won a travelling scholarship to Italy and then completed an advanced course in printmaking at Central School of Art. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally including solo shows in London, U.S.A and Japan. Sue's interest in the natural world was established during her childhood, which she spent in the Lake District. She now lives on the coast, so her recent paintings take inspiration from the sea. She enjoys observing the water and is fascinated by the constant lunar cycle of transient tides.
