b. 1959<br> Charlie Baird was born in Nairn, Scotland and now lives in Dorset, England. He studied at Wimbledon Art College, the Institute Allende in San Miguel, Mexico and the Cite International des Arts in Paris. His work excompasses both abstract and figurative elements drawn from a variety of sources. He uses a range of media to convey the essence of a landscape, a situation, or a moment using both the hot colours of North Africa and the more muted tones of the British Isles. Charlie Baird exhibits regularly in Europe and America.
