Biography
Caroline Jennings, an artist and writer, describes the common thread running through her work as a concern with profound revelations within everyday life; her pictures will often present a small glimpse into a complex world. She has received many awards; she has been the recipient of a National Endowment of the Arts Southeastern Artists Fellowship presented by SECCA, is the only three-time winner of the West Virginia Governor’s Award, and has twice achieved Best in Show at the Allied Artists of WV Juried Exhibition. Her work forms part of many private and corporate collections across the US and has also been acquired by the Huntingdon Museum, the West Virginia State Archives and the Smithsonian Institute following a commission from the White House. Additionally, she has exhibited in New York at the Ruth Siegal Gallery, J Cacciola Gallery and the National Academy of Design.<br> <br> She currently works as a picture researcher at the Bridgeman Art Library and is working on a collection of poetry and a novel.<br> <br> <br> <br>
