Biography
The 18TH Dynasty of Egypt is classed as the first dynasty of the New Kingdom of Egypt. This was the period in which ancient Egypt achieved the peak of its power. The 18th Dynasty operated during the period from 1550/1549 to 1292 BC. It is sometimes known as the Thutmosid Dynasty, after the four pharaohs named Thutmose.
