(1886-1956)<br> Born in February 1886, Ernest Hennings studied at the Art Institute of Chicago, the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts and the Munich Royal Academy. He worked on magazine illustrations, murals for the Art Institute of Chicago and as a commercial illustrator in Chicago. <br> <br> Martin travelled extensively in Germany and Europe, Morocco and Mexico, exhibiting at one man shows in America and New Mexico. He received many awards in his lifetime both in America and in Europe. <br>
