Kim Beer was born in South Africa. Having completed a Fine Art Diploma in painting and drawing. Kim moved to London in 1994 and immediately began to exhibit her works in various galleries including the Coventry Gallery, the Drury Lane Gallery, the Changing Room Gallery and the Alchemy Gallery in Clerkenwell. The library holds transparencies from her most recent exhibition which includes fascinating portraits of Londoners from the Brick Lane area.
