French Revolution:
The peace of Amiens. Traite signed on 25 March 1802 between the United Kingdom and its allies the Ottoman Empire on the one hand and France, Spain and Holland on the other. The painting depicts Napoleon I Bonaparte, crowned by an angel sounding the trumpet of victory, framed allegories of France, a soldier helmet of a rooster and a woman in armor wearing a tricolor feather, each throwing weapons into a fire lit by the figure of peace holding an olive branch and accompanied by that holding a horn of abundance .
