Paul Riley’s artistic career began at the age of fifteen when the Royal Academy accepted one of his works for their Summer Exhibition. At that time he was the youngest painter to have work exhibited at the Academy. Since graduating from Kingston Art School in 1965, Paul has had many solo and group exhibitions both in the UK and Europe, and further afield in Kuwait and Australia. As a result his work is to be found in many private collections worldwide. Over the last ten years Paul has established himself as one of Britain’s leading watercolourists. Paul runs a painting course both in England and abroad. He has also found the time to write two best-selling instructional books and is also a regular contributor to various leading art publications.
