Maggie Rowe, a self-taught artist, paints in acrylics mainly on board or canvas and has exhibited with the British Naïve Artists at the Rona Gallery, London where she was given a solo show in 1982. She was invited to exhibit at ‘Naif Speak – the Best of British Naive Painters’ at the Barbican Centre for the City of London Festival. In recent years she has worked on private commissions to portray families, their homes and animals in her own highly individual style.
