Biography
b.1954
Martin Taylor was born in 1954 and studied at the Ealing School of Art, Wimbledon School of Art and Goldsmith’s College. He has exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition and at the Chris Beetles Gallery in London to name but a few. He has had many solo exhibitions and his work may be seen in public collections e.g. The Prudential Collection, London and Grindleys Bank, St James’ Square, London.

Taylor is a true lover of nature. Every detail is a constant source of inspiration. The artist achieves his highly detailed, naturalistic style by totally immersing himself in the subject, painting what he sees in front of him, en plein air. His preliminary drawings are of a quality that stand as works in their own right. The finished paintings are works in water colour, with some acrylic for the sharper details.
