Lawrie Simonson is a sculptor and studied art at Camden Institute, Camden Arts Centre and the London College of Painting. He has won several art prizes and exhibited at many group shows.

The use of metal and found objects in his sculpture is a progression from the traditional manner in which artists have interpreted nature and animals.
