Biography
Richard Wheatland started drawing and painting at an early age and when he became a part of the family engineering company, he continued his artistic pursuit. His engineering skills blended easily with his love of the motor car. He first exhibited his work at Brooklands, home of British motor racing, in 1982 and since then his work has been exhibited in many art galleries both in England and the USA. <br> <br> His paintings now hang in many important collections including the Holland Collection in America and at Motor Clubs and Railway Preservation Groups. His work has also featured on Christmas cards and calendars.<br>
