MPX5082206: The doctor was asked to go to a Gypsy encampment to get a bee out of a boy's ear and on arriving found that the patient's sister had got his head sideways over a basin and was pouring hot water into the upper ear with a view to working the bee out of the lower! When it was explained to her that we hadn't got a hole running right though our heads, she said: "well doctor, we always say, don't we, 'in at one ear and out of the other'".
