MPX5069213: The 2 1/2 ton Revolving Lighthouse Safe. Here a woman is seen placing papers in the lighthouse. She is also locking it. The light at the top flashes like a lighthouse and revolves with the iron safe. This is worked by a motor underneath. Any attempt by burglars to stop the safe revolving immediately puts out the light and rings alarm gongs. While the light is still flashing police know that all is safe. There has been only one model of the Revolving Lighthouse Safe made by Chubbs, Ltd. of Wolverhampton. Mr. Edward Chubb said he did not think any more Lighthouses would be made.
