Christopher Ryland has specialised in botanical painting since the early 1980's. He is an elected Fellow of the Society of Botanical Artists, and has had several solo exhibitions in London and East Anglia where he lives, most recently at the John Russell Gallery in Ipswich in 2017 and the Wildlife Art Gallery in Lavenham in 2010. His paintings have been featured in many publications, and have won awards, including the President's Award at the annual exhibition of the SBA in Westminster 2001, and the St. Cuthbert's Mill Award in 2007. He also teaches Art courses from his studio in Sudbury, Suffolk.
