Biography
Mildred Bendall (1891-1977) was born in Bordeaux and entered the Ecole des Beaux Arts, Bordeaux under Felix Carme. She was Treasurer of the Société des Artistes Indépendants, Bordeaux in 1934, and exhibited in the Galerie de Paris, Paris in 1937. A retrospective of her work was held by the Société Artistique Mérignac in 1981. Her work has also been exhibited in Toulouse and London.
