Biography
I am an illustrator and graphic designer. My creative journey began with ink drawing and soon expanded to gouache and watercolour, which remain central to my process. Since completing my graphic design studies in 1998, I’ve been telling visual stories that are hand-drawn, with digital methods used in a small selection of my work. Birds are at the heart of my work. Their colours, songs, and movements inspire me endlessly. Each piece is my way of celebrating their beauty, fragility, and symbolic power. I often explore the connections between nature, pattern, and narrative, inviting viewers to pause and reflect on the wonder of the natural world. My work is especially suited for editorial illustration, children’s publishing, and decorative art. With over two decades of experience, I continue to explore new ways of capturing the life and spirit of the natural world in my art.
