The second edition of Mr. Reg Butler's” unknown political prisoner” sculpture was being taken to the Tate Gallery. The first edition was smashed on March 15th while on exhibition at the Tate. Mr. Butler was putting his replica on the pedestal which his original work occupied. There has been no change in the lay-out of the exhibition, and his new” prisoner” is as accessible to the public as the old one was. But extra attendants are now on duty in the room containing the prize winners in this sculpture competition. Mr. Butler as winner of the first prize collects £4525.
