ZUM4830842: Tue. 17, 1953 - Girl Guide Leaders Arrive From Germany. A group of 21 Guiders (adult leaders) from Germany, have been invited to this country by the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts to undertake a course of training. Ten are already in this country, and the remaining fifteen (three of whom are D.P. Guiders in Germany) arrived at Victoria today. Their stay will last a month - two weeks will be spent in training - and the remaining fortnight will be spent with private families when they will have an opportunity to attend local meetings of Guide or Ranger Companies and Brownie Packs.
