Dory Coffee has painted all her life and exhibited since 1966 in New York City, New Hope, PA and Southampton, Long Island. In 1990 she exhibited in Antibes, France. She currently exhibits in New York City, Lambertville NJ, Sarasota, FL, Annapolis, MD.<br> <br> Dory creates charming, sophisticated and highly decorative paintings of the countryside, flowers, fruit, interiors and the sea. Many of her works are inspired by the Cote d’Azur and are reminiscent of the dramatic starkness of Edward Hopper, the romanticism of Monet and the impressionism of Fairfield Porter.<br> <br> Her paintings are included in the collections of the former President Clinton and his First Lady Mrs Hillary R. Clinton, literary agent Mort Janklow, authors Danielle Steel and Elinore Klein. In addition Tiffany & Co has exhibited Dory’s works in the windows of their Worth Avenue store in Palm Beach. Most recently Bristol Myers purchased five of her paintings.<br>
