Biography
(1848-1948)<br> Harry Brooker was a painter of domestic genre, especially of children. He exhibited at the Royal Academy and the Society of British Artists at Suffolk Street. His Victorian interiors and figures are full of period charm, and follow the tradition of the Cranbrook School - Webster and F.D. Hardy. His most characteristic works are of children playing in the schoolrooms of country houses.
